We go with the forecast that the Mets connect more hits for the following reasons: -The Mets have won 13 of their last 15 home games and to win those games they must score more runs than the opposing team and to score more runs they must hit more hits. So the above indicates that the Mets tend to hit more hits than their opponents at home. -The Mets have beaten the Cubs the last two games at the Mets' home and in both games they have hit more hits than the Cubs. -The Mets will be the best pitcher in ERA in the major leagues this year and for many the best pitcher in recent years, we are talking about Mr. Jacob deGrom who has an ERA of 0.56 (this is out of this world for a starting pitcher). Mr. deGrom has been a Cy Young Award winner in the American League twice (pitcher of the year).

• On the other hand the Cubs will be dating Stock who will make his first major league appearance this year and this is always difficult for a pitcher because he faces established major league hitters.
