We go with the victory of the Red Sox for the following reasons: -Boston has won 6 of their last 8 home games (tomorrow they play at the Red Sox) -The Marlins have lost 7 of their last 8 road games. -The Red Sox have won the last 4 meetings between them at the home of the Red Sox. -The Red Sox have a positive record of 35 wins and 23 losses, while the Marlins have a losing record of 25 wins and 33 losses. -The Red Sox are the second best team at bat in the entire league with a team average of 258, while the Marlins are 25th with 228. -The Red Sox come from winning (sweeping) in three games against the Yankees in New York, so they are very motivated. -The Red Sox will go out with Nick Pivetta who has been their best pitcher of 2021 with a record of 6 wins and 1 loss, while the Marlins will go out with a Pablo Lopez who has a record of 1 win and 3 losses (although he has a losing record, it is good pitcher and that's why we don't go higher on the stake). -As mentioned in the previous line, the Marlins are better in percentage of ERA 3.54 per game while the Red Sox average 3.83 (these give us an alert that although the Red Sox are better at bat, the Marlins can control that offensive).
