Por lo que estadísticamente estaríamos recibiendo 8 carreras entre los dos equipos. -Los Mets saldrán con Walker quién tiene porcentaje de carreras limpias permitidas de 2.17 y los Orioles saldrán con Harvey quién tiene porcentaje de carreras limpias permitidas de 6.62 (alto, pero es un buen lanzador, de hecho el mejor de los Orioles) por lo que estaríamos recibiendo 9 carreras aproximadamente entre los dos. -Los dos equipos están necesitados de victorias, por lo que de ser necesario habrá muchos cambios de lanzadores evitando que el rival tome una ventaja muy amplia.
