1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device. They are used to remember information between visits —for example, that you are still signed in or your preferred language— and to understand how a service is used. This policy also covers browser local storage, which serves an equivalent purpose.
2. What types of cookies do we use?
Below they are grouped by purpose, along with whether they require your consent.
Technical and session
Essential for the Platform to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and preferences, and your choice about this very notice. Being strictly necessary, they do not require consent (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE).
Examples

Analytics
They measure aggregate use of the site (most visited pages, performance) to help us improve it. We use Google Analytics 4. Its cookies are NOT loaded until you accept this notice: if you decline, the script is never downloaded and nothing is measured.
Examples
_ga_ga_* (Google Analytics 4)_fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel)tl_visitanteOnly with your consent
Third party
Loaded by providers we use to operate the Platform: Firebase/Google handles sign-in, Stripe processes payment only while you pay for a premium channel, and Google Analytics measures site usage (the latter only if you accept). They are governed by each provider's privacy policy.

2.1 Our own campaign funnel identifier
If you accept this notice, we also store our own analytics identifier in your browser's local storage. These are its details:
- Name: tl_visitante.
- Type: browser local storage (equivalent to a first-party cookie), for our own analytics. It is a random code: it is not calculated from your device, your IP address or your browser.
- Purpose: to measure our acquisition funnel by campaign, that is, how many of the people who arrive through a campaign link end up creating an account. If you sign up, it may be linked to your account, but only during the 30 days after you sign up.
- Legal basis: your consent. It is only created and sent if you press «Accept» in the cookie notice; if you press «Reject» or make no choice, it does not exist.
- Duration: in your browser, 30 days from its creation; after that it is no longer used. On our servers, 60 days from your last visit if it is never linked to an account, or 13 months from sign-up if it is. If you delete your account, it is deleted with it.
- Recipients: none. It is only sent to Tipsterland's servers; it is not shared with Google Analytics, Meta or any other third party.
- How to withdraw consent: just press Cookie settings (here or in the footer of any page) and choose «Reject»: we delete it from your browser and from our servers. Alternatively, you can write to us at privacidad@tipsterland.com.
3. How we manage your consent
The first time you visit you will see a notice at the bottom of the screen with two options, «Accept» and «Decline». Your choice is stored in your own browser and we will not ask again unless you clear this site's browsing data or change device or browser. Until you choose, no optional (analytics) cookie is loaded. The technical cookies needed for the Service to work —such as keeping you signed in— apply in any case, as they are exempt from consent by law.
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, also in the footer of every page: it reopens the notice with «Accept» and «Reject». If you choose «Reject», we stop loading optional cookies and delete our own analytics identifiers from your browser and from our servers.
4. How to decline or delete cookies
Besides «Decline» in our notice, you can block or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings (usually under «Privacy and security» or «Cookies and site data»). Note that blocking technical cookies may prevent essential Service features, such as keeping you signed in, from working properly.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
