Sometimes a pick is easier to explain out loud. Voice notes now work across almost all of Tipsterland: direct messages, groups, channels, posts and picks.

How to record a voice note

1. Press and hold the microphone button and speak.
2. Slide left to cancel, or slide up to lock the recording and keep going hands-free.
3. Before sending you can listen to it, record again or discard it. In chats and groups, releasing sends it.
4. In a post or pick, the note is attached and uploaded when you publish. A post can be just audio.

Listening

The player shows the waveform: tap or drag to jump anywhere and choose 1×, 1.5× or 2× speed. Notes you haven't heard yet are marked "Not played yet".

Limits and privacy

• Up to 15 minutes per note. We warn you 30 seconds before and it stops automatically.
• Audio in paid content can only be heard by people with access to that content.
• Voice notes in direct messages are private.
• Voice notes aren't available in comments for now.
