Vamos por la victoria con handicap negativo -1.5 (deben ganar por 2 o más carreras) para los Giants por las siguientes razones:

Giants: • 5-0 en sus últimos 5 partidos contra lanzadores derecho (Widener es derecho). • 21-8 en su primer partido de una nueva serie (hoy empieza esa serie). • Vienen de ganar sus últimas dos series, nada más y nada menos que contra los Dodgers y Astros quienes son fuertes favoritos este año. • 9-1 en sus últimos 10 partidos contra los Diamondbacks, de esas 9 victorias 6 fueron por 2 o más carreras. • Saldrá DeSclafani quién ha lucido enorme este año con 10 victoria y sólo 5 derrotas, con porcentaje de carreras limpias recibidas de 3.10 y 113 ponches en 122 episodios.

Diamondbacks: • El peor equipo de todas las grandes ligas. • La única ventaja que tienen para hoy es que juegan en su estadio, pero ventaja entre comillas porque su récord en casa es perdedor (20-31).
